Free Entrance In National Parks On 1/15

The National Park Service is offering free admission to all 412 national parks for four days only in 2018. The first day of the year when you can visit these parks for free will be January 15th. Here’s all four dates:

  • January 15: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 21: First day of National Park Week
  • September 22: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11: Veterans Day

Free Entrance In National Parks



The waiver includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees, such as activities that require a reservation, camping sites, lodging, tours, concession, and other fees collected by third party vendors working within the park system are not included.
