I posted yesterday about an increased offer on the Chase IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card for 80,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 within the first three months plus 5,000 bonus points when you add your first authorized user and make your first purchase.
The regular offer for this card is 60K and the best ever offer was a targeted offer for 100K after spending $2,000 within the first 3 months. Well, it looks like is possible to get that best ever offer, if you recently applied for any of those lesser offers.
Get Matched To 100K Offer
The landing page for the 100K offer still works and you can see it here. But you can’t apply through that offer page, because when clicking Apply Now it tells you that “this offer is not available” and it takes you to the 60K offer. However it is possible to get matched to that great offer, which also gets you the 5K bonus for an Authorized User and a waived annual fee. The only difference is that you need to spend an extra $1,000.
If you applied for the 60K or 80K offer within the last 3 months, then send Chase a secured message and ask to get matched. There’s already positive data points. Although it is not guaranteed, it takes less than a minute to send a message and looks like there’s a pretty good chance that you will receive the extra points.
If you recently applied, then it’s a no-brainer to send a message and ask to get matched for the best ever offer of 100K points. Chase is pretty good at matching offers, and recent data points show that they’re willing to match you to the 100K offer even though that was targeted.
