AirBnB is a great alternative to hotel chains. They offer unique accommodations from local hosts in 191+ countries, so you’ most likely be able to find a place anywhere. Prices will be usually 25-30% cheaper than hotels (if you’re paying cash) and you’ll get to live in a home, instead of a hotel.
