GiftCards.com Ends PicPaid Program, No More Commission

I wrote in January about the PicPaid program at GiftCards.com. You can submit your gift card designs and if they’re approved, you would get paid 15 cents for every card that is sold with your design. I was able to earn about $20-30 a month from them, and the image below was my best selling design with about 500 cards sold. It was easy money, and it will be missed.

But, just like any other good deal this year, this will end soon. GiftCards.com sent out an email yesterday announcing that effective as of April 11, they will discontinue paying you for your designs. They state that all fees paid under the PicPaid program will be set to $0. But it’s up to you if you want to still leave the designs on the website for use. If you want to remove them, you have to email them at picpaidchanges at giftcards.com.

I’d like to think that maybe this is the first deal I killed.

Did you sign up for PicPaid? If so let us know how it worked out for you.

  1. I sent in two designs a few weeks ago and they were rejected due to image quality. Never got around to submitting new ones and I guess it’s pointless now.
